Hire in-house
You get control and availability. You also get a salary, benefits, payroll taxes, software seats, recruitment fees and the risk that they leave in eighteen months and take the process with them.
Offshore outsourcing traded cost for control. Nearshore does not make you choose. Our accountants sit four hours from New York, work the full US business day, and become a named extension of your team.
No hourly billing · Fixed monthly fee · Named team, not a ticket queue
Every growing company hits the same wall on finance staffing. Here is how the usual choices break down, and where nearshore sits.
You get control and availability. You also get a salary, benefits, payroll taxes, software seats, recruitment fees and the risk that they leave in eighteen months and take the process with them.
The rate looks excellent. Then a question that should take five minutes takes a day and a half, work comes back needing rework, and you find yourself managing the manager.
The books get done at 11pm on Sundays by the person whose time is worth the most. It works, right up until it very visibly does not.
An English-speaking, Commonwealth-trained accounting profession, four hours from Miami, operating on the same clock as your New York and Toronto offices, at a cost structure that makes a full finance function affordable well before you could justify hiring one.
Every engagement is scoped on real drivers: transaction volume, number of accounts, entities and complexity. The fee is fixed monthly, so your finance cost stops being a variable.
The foundation. Your transactions are categorised correctly, every account is reconciled, and the books close on a fixed calendar instead of whenever someone gets to them.
Best for: owner-operated businesses and companies whose books have quietly fallen behind.
Starting from US$500/month. Final fee depends on volume and complexity.
Bookkeeping plus the review layer. Someone senior reviews the close, explains the variances, and stays in regular contact, so problems surface in your management pack, not in your audit.
Best for: companies with revenues between US$500k and US$2M that require professional financial oversight, accurate reporting, and ongoing controllership services.
Starting from US$900/month. Final fee depends on volume and complexity.
Strategic finance without a strategic-finance salary. Forecasting, cash flow, risk and cost decisions from someone who has run them before.
Best for: founders, and companies past roughly US$2M in revenue, that need strategic financial leadership to support their next stage of growth.
Starting from US$2,000/month. Final fee depends on volume and complexity.
Regulated and high-scrutiny accounting where getting it wrong is expensive. We run these as standing monthly disciplines with documented working papers.
Best for: law firms, community associations, property managers and fund administrators.
Monthly three-way reconciliation of client trust accounts against the bank and the matter ledgers, with the working papers your regulator expects to see.
Assessment billing, owner ledgers, reserve schedules and a consistent board reporting pack delivered the same week every month.
Practice-management and billing systems reconciled to the ledger each month, with production, collections and provider-level profitability reported clearly.
Capacity that carries your brand. We work inside your systems, to your templates and your review standards. Your clients never see us, they just see work delivered on time.
Best for: CPA and bookkeeping firms with more demand than headcount, and firms tired of busy-season burnout.
Quoted on the scope of works, based on the capacity and the mix of work your firm needs covered.
Prices shown are indicative starting points. Every quote is built from your actual transaction volume, number of accounts, entity structure and specialty requirements.
The honest version. There are situations where each of these is the right answer. Here is where each one actually wins.

We have built repeatable processes and working papers for the engagements below. If your business is not on this list, ask. We will tell you honestly if it is not our strength.
Trust and IOLTA account discipline, matter-level ledgers, and three-way reconciliations documented to a standard that survives a bar association review.
Assessment billing, owner ledgers, reserve schedules and board packs, for single associations or a whole managed portfolio.
Practice-management software reconciled to the general ledger, production versus collections tracked monthly, and associate and hygienist compensation calculated cleanly.
Insurance receipts matched against billing, payer reconciliation and provider-level profitability, so you know which services and which providers actually pay.
White-label capacity under your brand, in your systems, with contractual confidentiality and non-solicitation.
Agencies, consultancies and SaaS businesses that need project profitability and recurring-revenue reporting they can actually trust.
These are the controls we operate as standard on every engagement, and we will walk through each of them with you before you share a single credential.
We work inside your systems with the narrowest role that does the job, never a shared administrator login, never credentials sent over email.
MFA is mandatory on every application, every account and every device that touches client data. No exceptions for convenience.
Firm-level and individual non-disclosure agreements, plus non-solicitation terms for our white-label partners.
The person who enters a payment is never the person who approves it. Your approval authority stays with you, always.
Every engagement runs from a written close checklist. If someone is out, the work still happens the same way.
If you leave, you leave with everything: reconciled books, working papers and documentation. No hostage-taking, no transition fee.
There is no six-month implementation here. Most nearshore engagements issue their first full management pack by the end of the first month, then use the second cycle to prove the process holds.
Where the books need it, we run a one-time cleanup in parallel so that your first close starts from a reconciled position rather than an inherited mess.
We review your systems, volumes and pain points, then issue a fixed monthly quote and, if needed, a separate one-time cleanup quote.
Engagement letter signed, least-privilege access provisioned, MFA configured, and you meet the named people who will be doing the work.
We build your close checklist, agree the chart of accounts, and work any backlog back to a reconciled starting point.
Your first management pack lands on the agreed date, with a walkthrough call to confirm the format tells you what you actually need to know.
The second cycle is where the process is properly tested. We resolve the teething issues the first close surfaced, tighten the checklist and confirm the reporting pack is right, so the engagement reaches a steady, efficient state rather than merely a working one.
A fixed close calendar, a named contact during your business hours, and a quarterly review of whether the scope still fits the business.
Our team is in Trinidad and Tobago, which runs on Atlantic Standard Time (UTC−4) all year with no daylight-saving changes. That means we match US Eastern time exactly from March to November, and run one hour ahead from November to March. Either way you get a full working-day overlap: questions asked in your morning are answered in your morning.
Yes. We prepare US GAAP-basis management accounts for American clients and ASPE-basis reporting for Canadian clients, and we work to whatever basis your CPA or auditor requires. We are not a tax filing firm in either country. We prepare the books and the year-end file, and we work alongside your CPA rather than replacing them.
No, and we are deliberate about saying so. We are not a licensed CPA firm, we do not sign audit opinions, and we do not file US or Canadian tax returns. What we do is run the finance function underneath all of that: the books, the reconciliations, the controls and the reporting. For filings, attestation and tax positions we work alongside your existing CPA, or introduce you to one of the firms we partner with. Most clients find the split works in their favour, because their CPA spends billable time on advice instead of cleaning up records first.
We do not bill hourly. Your fee is built from real drivers: monthly transaction volume, number of bank and card accounts, number of legal entities, whether you are multi-state, accrual versus cash basis, payroll, and any specialty work such as trust or fund reporting. You get one fixed monthly number, and a discount is available on a twelve-month term.
It is extremely common, and it is quoted separately as a one-time cleanup priced per backlog month. We would rather bring the history to a reconciled position up front than build a year of monthly reporting on top of numbers nobody trusts.
You are assigned named team members and you meet them during onboarding. This is not a shared ticket queue. If someone moves on, replacing and retraining them is our responsibility and our cost, and your close calendar does not move.
The books live in your systems under your ownership throughout, because we work inside your subscriptions, not ours. On exit you receive reconciled books, all working papers and the documented close checklist, and our access is revoked. There is no transition fee.
Two tools built for exactly this decision. Use them first, then bring us the output.
The true annual cost of a finance hire once benefits, payroll taxes, software and recruiting are counted, set against our fee.
