Murad Consulting Limited is an accounting firm based in Trinidad and Tobago. We support businesses within our shores while providing nearshore finance solutions to companies across the United States and Canada.
Two markets, one standard of work
We started with a simple observation: the standard of financial discipline that large organisations take for granted is not actually expensive to deliver. It is just rarely offered to businesses below a certain size.
In Trinidad and Tobago, we saw capable businesses turned away by lenders because their records could not prove what their operations plainly showed. In the United States and Canada, we saw growing companies stuck between an in-house hire they could not yet justify and an offshore arrangement that cost them more in management than it saved in fees.
Both problems have the same answer: a properly run finance function, delivered at a fair fixed price, by people who are available during your working day. That is the whole business.

Fixed fees, never hourly
You should never hesitate to call your accountant because of what the question might cost. One monthly number, agreed in advance.
A calendar, not a promise
Your close runs on fixed dates. You know when the pack arrives, and we tell you before a deadline rather than after one.
Named people
You meet the person doing your work and you keep them. If they move on, retraining a replacement is our cost, not your disruption.
Plain language
A management pack that needs an accountant to interpret it has failed. We write for the person who has to make the decision.
We tell you the hard thing
If the margin is thin, the runway is short or the deal does not work, you will hear it from us early and directly.
Your data stays yours
We work inside your subscriptions, under your ownership. If you leave, you leave with everything and there is no exit fee.
Led from Trinidad, built for both markets
Murad Consulting is led by Shameer Muradali, who founded the firm to bring a consistent standard of financial management to businesses on both sides of the Caribbean Sea.
The firm draws on Trinidad and Tobago’s English-speaking accounting profession, including ACCA-qualified professionals with expertise in US GAAP and internationally recognised accounting practices. Combined with day-to-day fluency in the financial systems and workflows used by North American businesses, we deliver high-quality nearshore finance support that bridges Caribbean talent with North American business requirements.
We do not sell hours. We sell a finance function that runs on time, reconciles to the penny, and tells you something useful before you have to ask.
Why I am building this firm
Growing up in Trinidad, I watched genuinely excellent people do genuinely excellent work and never get the chance to do it for anyone beyond these shores. The talent here has never been the constraint. The access has.
I started Murad Consulting to close that gap in both directions. Businesses in the United States and Canada get finance professionals who are as capable as anyone they would hire at home, working their hours and at a cost that lets a smaller company afford a real finance function. Businesses here at home get the same standard of work that I spent years delivering to large organisations abroad, priced so that a growing local company can actually use it.
That is the whole idea. Caribbean talent, doing serious work, for people who value it wherever they happen to be.
